Finally had a little bidding war on a item started at $75.00 - it went to $150+ with 2 bidders. Of course the winner had less than 5 FB and the loser had over 2000 - just my luck!!!lol
I will give the winner another day to pay and have contacted the second bidder to see if they are still interested.
My question is if the second bidder still wants it - can I send the NPB alert and the second chance at the same time. I believe the NPB alert states that I don't have to complete the sale at this point if I don't want to but I don't want to pay 2 FVF on one item. Also the NPB need to be kicked off ebay and that will only happen if we as sellers file for FVF.
Has anyone done this? I really think ebay should have a option to go to the second bidder after a set period without all the waiting time??

If you only have one of that item, then you do need to give the high bidder a legite shot a purchasing it. How long has it been since the auction closed? If over 14 days, have you e-mailed the winner a second time asking that they respond? If so, and they didn't respond, did you file a NPB. If so and no response, the contact the second place bidder.

Yes I have sent the winner about 3 or 4 emails now with no reply.
They had filled out my check out information and state that they would use paypal.
I just filed the NPBA and here is the part that I was referring to:
"Remember: Your seller is under no obligation to "hold" your item since much time has already passed."
So I take this that if I want I can do the second chance and should he pay - I can refuse the payment and still file for a FVF.
If the second chance is accept that way I won't have to pay the FVF twice. WHY does ebay make it so darn hard. This really ticks me off as the #$^# deadbeat outbid the other bidder TWICE.
