I just signed up for Vendio gallery. Has anyone else been using it? How has it worked for you? I would think it wouldve been as good or better than Andale which gives you the option to organize them by item type kind of like eBay stores. By the looks of it I probably wont use it more than a month.

Can you tell us more about the features? I'm thinking of using Vendio for one of my accounts.
Thanks.

The only feature I see is that it can show either your ebay items, store items or both. I dont see where it can be organized into catagories like Andale or other auction management galleries.

My mistake... There is a drop down menu where it organizes your item by catagory. There seems to be a small glitch however that freezes the gallery when trying to switch between catagories.

Yikes it's expensive!! Think I'll pass for now..maybe someone will post a link when they've added to their auctions so we can look at it.
The promo says something about "eBay store listings at a fraction of the cost" but I don't see any fractions! Am I missing something?

I was thinking of doing it too, but we do about 2700 listings a month, and if I figured it out correctly it would cost us over $80.00 a month. Not worth it to me.

Great designs! The "Memory Game" is really unique!
I recall the announcement about the new gallery coming - didn't realize it was here!

I had a Ebay Store and closed it-I was thinking of reopening it. Doesn't the Ebay Stores do this for you? through that cross marketing? or was that just when someone won an item? If someone could clarify that would be great. If Ebay stores doesn't have this feature then I am going to take advantage of Vendio.
Thanks

ebay has the option but they only show 3 or 4 items. Vendio gallery can show all of your items. I sometimes list over 200 items and I am not really interested in paying additional fees for each one to be shown. I will more than likely cancel it after this month. It should be unlimited to the amount of auctions that it shows. That alone is a good enough reason to dump it if you list over 200 auctions at a time.

I run about 400 auctions and 3,000 store listings all the time..no way can I justify the gallery expense!
junebug - eBay stores can be a "gallery" of sorts because a gallery view can be added for 1 cent a month and your listings can be seen in a gallery format. The cross promotion below the listing just shows 4 items in the same store category..a teaser anyway!

Did I misread the information about their gallery? I thought it said $2.95 a month. What did I miss?
I think either the basic or the first one they show, as options, are the best. The slot machine is too cutesy and a bit cumbersome.

Gallery Pricing
Vendio offers two pricing plans to fit your needs.
Silver Plan
$2.95 per month for the first 100 items.
Just $0.05 for each additional item.
Gold Plan
$6.95 per month for the first 200 items.
Just $0.03 for each additional item.
In my opinion, it is ridiculously high. I get the same benefit using the Vendio storefront as my gallery, and it's free with the plan I am on.
Just my opinion

Oops, you're right, wgm! But I list about 100 items a month, seldom more, so I think I'll sign up for it and see how I like it, for a month or two.
I will also ask every single buyer during that time period if he actually looked at the gallery.
The proof that it's working would be an increase in buyers getting more than one item from me in a time period. Right?

Roadsmith - I think the designs and features of the new gallery are great! You'll have to let us know how you do with it.
I wish Vendio would offer a discounted version of it with Power Plans or something like that. My Vendio bill is high enough! Until the price comes down, I guess I am stuck using my Vendio storefront as my gallery - it's included in my plan anyway LOL
Junebug - the only way to have all your auctions/store items show gallery form in an eBay store is to spring for Gallery on ALL items. I have an eBay store, and have Gallery on all my store items; but do not use Gallery on auctions...so the only photos that show up is the store items - I just hate that extra cost

WOW OK did not note the extra per item over 100..That's too much for me I'm high volume. I think I'm probably going to reopen my store.
Wgm-I agree..I have the most expensive seller plan Vendio offers, In my opinion this feature should be free..We are already paying a monthly fee plus a final value fee for sold items-$2.95 a month I can justify-A hundred is too much
Come on Vendio give us high volume sellers a little perk....

I have never listed more than 200 items in a month and 1 sale will pay the entire amount for me so I just signed up.
It doesn't seem to be working now.
Maybe it takes some time to work???
I just updated my new website - give me your feedback on it.

This vendio team is dreaming !!
Me, with 1,600 items month it would cost extra $55.00 month.
NO WAY !!
The galeries with games are funny but they are not a good thing to make SALES.
Other service providers have FREE galleries ( only withouth the zoom thing ).
