Lots of oriental writings, in blue,
around the center and on bottom ...
this is a bowl, 7" x 2.25",
recessed bottom rim ... the blue is
so hazy so I'm not sure you will be
able to make much of it out. Any
help and input is, as always, VERY much
appreciated.
I'm sure I took too many pictures,
but but I thought maybe
some of them would be more clear
than the others, soooo here they are:
Thanks... my gut feeling is that it has "some" years to it.

Love it! It does have age. It's Japanese. Are the marks these (it's hard to tell 100% from your photos):
If so, the mark reads Fuki Choshun, four Kanji characters that stands for Wealth, Nobility, Longevity and Youth. May date from 1862-1912, Meiji period. However, the mark was also use during the Edo period (1603-1867) on Arita Imari. I'd date it to the turn of the century if this is the mark on your bowl. The painting seems rather crude to be earlier. Just my two cents.

those kansi characters in the middle of the bowl are related to I-CHING,esoteric study of the unniverse.

THANK YOU, Cheryl, and THANK YOU, Stop ... yes Cheryl, those ARE the same marks! [I swear my camera is really good focus with close-ups, so you are seeing the amount of blur I am seeing; it's like the blues bled] ... but when examining your markings alongside this, I can see it is the same.
I-Ching? thank you for giving me more to add to the Title and description ... you guys are SUCH a great help ... now I don't have to call this auction "Oriental Bowl For Sale" LOL ... doh!
