From the Antique Collectors Newsletter, something you might find interesting. Did you KNOW you're called deltiologists??!
"NATIONAL POSTCARD WEEK
"Members of the postcard collecting community will celebrate National
Postcard Week, during the first full week in May. Each year postcard
collectors, called deltiologists, commemorate the occasion by creating
home-made postcards and sending them to their postcard-collecting
friends. This tradition has been followed nationwide since 1984, when
National Postcard Week began. The variety of cards produced by
collectors is never-ending, from professionally printed photographs to
hand-drawn or rubber-stamped individualized cards. If you're a
collector, you may be hard at work creating a personal postcard to send
to your friends in commemoration of the occasion. If you're not a
postcard collector, you might well receive one of these personal
creations from a friend who is. It's how postcard collectors "get the
word out" about their beloved and popular hobby.

Ummmm...Roadsmith..I don't think Neglus collects them. I think she sells them. If a collector is known as a Deltiologist, then wouldn't that make Neglus a Selltiologist?

Awwwww Neglus I'm so disappointed. I just knew you would be making something special to send out this week. I couldn't wait to see what you had made up After all, with only 3,000 listings you must have tons of spare time (Just kidding, of course)
