Hi...after reviewing sellathon data and imput from the powersellers board, wondering if the gallery feature is really worth it.

Think the gallery is worth it if you have a jewelry or collectable item that is somewhat unique. If there are dozens listed just like it , I see no reason to pay the additional 25 cents.

Good question! I'm still using the gallery (Ebay) most of the time so my thumbnail will show on the listing page. Hate to do it, though.
This week I just have 4 little piddly items that didn't sell at all last week - relists.
They're getting 'way more hits and I think it's because I'm using the Vendio Gallery. Since only four items are up, everyone who clicks on one of those four will definitely see the other three. Interesting situation.
The ViewTracker is very interesting, too, but I'm not sure I'll continue it. I"m not learning a lot that I didn't already know (like about keyword searching and such).

Hi...thanks for the input.
Starting yesterday, we began listing without using the gallery...I'm surprised this morning, many have bids...
Still too early to tell, but from the Sellathon info, I wonder if the gallery is really worth it?

Here's my take on it: I list keywords in the title for those that are doing searches and I use a gallery photo for those that are browsing. If I changed the title to using descriptive words such as "gorgeous", "beautiful" and the like, I wouldn't use the gallery photo. But since listing using only keywords and a gallery picture, the hits have dramatically increased. Not only that, but my sell through rate will probably be around 90% (up from 74%). To me, that's worth an extra quarter.

Hello Again... as a follow up...only a short time of testing, but we've noticing that even without using the gallery we're receiving good bidding and viewing.
Dollar closing so far remain about the same.
Has anyone else experimented with no using gallery?
