Not unlike the question about stamps- whats the deal on shipping labels? Cases of full sheets for printer use being offered by bunches of different sellers for almost nothing, one includes FREE shipping.

Search "shipping labels fedex" to see what I mean.

That is an easy one - these labels are free from Fedex and UPS. I guess the seller just uses his account and puts in the buyers address and has them shipped directly to them.

I checked a couple out. One says that the labels come in 3 boxes. His terms at the bottom says first item $4.95 and $3.95 for each additional item. Bet he/she charges for each box sent. Another one says free shipping but $3.95 handling charge. I checked FB on one seller and someone left FB saying these are UPS label seller gets free and they reported them to UPS. It's a matter of time until FedEx and UPS figures it out and quits offering free labels when they are sent to a different address than the seller's.

OK! That thought crossed my mind- as did the smaller loose labels which could be Priority labels with the Priority margins cut off.

Doesn't matter- I just bought a case for 5 bucks delivered, no handling charges - noone at UPS or Fedex offered ME anything for free and a case will cover me for 6 months -I'll halve em again and get 4 per page.

If you have a UPS account, log in on the UPS page. Under "Quick Links", choose "Order Supplies". Then choose "Get UPS Labels..."

The ship-to address is editable, which I'm guessing is how these eBay sellers are shipping the goods. The chutzpah of the FREE SHIPPING claim is pretty funny.

What's also amusing is that UPS's disclaimer seems to indicate this activity is OK: You have to be either the accountholder or authorized by the accountholder to order these supplies. For $3.95 on eBay, you can get such "authorization".

I had a qualm about ordering such supplies since I use USPS more than UPS, but I looked at my UPS bills. Wow. Sure would be nice to get something back to compensate for all their extra BS charges... I'm paying for it, so I might as well get the free labels.

I just went to the UPS site because I needed more labels. But when I went to reorder, it shows that they are no longer available. Did they get rid of them?

I bought some labels since I print out many labels from USPS web site. I got the labels and a few days later a "Welcome to UPS" package. The seller evidently opens an account in the buyers name (mine) and UPS sends the labels. I thought this seller was legit since his ad read differently than the others selling labels.

Received my labels- and so far nothing else.
3200 cut in half will make 6400 labels - I'll be using these for years.

FedEx is smarter than UPS. They just have one label per page and a border around it that says FedEx all the way around.(not part of the actual label)
It is nice because you only put it through the printer once.
They are slightly smaller than a half page but a USPS EMS label still fits perfect.

Anybody with a UPS account still able to order the labels? If UPS quit offering them, some sellers lucrative business just went to hell.

I ordered some UPS labels the other day. So far 10 cartons have arrived with no end in sight.

I've gotta say I love these labels. The two-up self-adhesive labels sold by CompuLabel are a bit too thin and sometimes annoy the rollers of my printers to where they will come out accordion-pleated. But the UPS labels emerge flat and smooth. I use four Apple LaserWriter 16/600 printers.

Well, lucky you.

They show not available to me in my quick reorder section. Only label I can order is the thermal roll. I've gone through every option.

I ordered the 4 labels to a sheet and some of the two labels to a sheet. These are GREAT! I like the 4 labels the most. I was having to cut the FedEx labels in half and you only got one label to a sheet with them.
