I had to clear my cache & close/reopen me browser PLUS slap Ralphie around a few times before feeBay started to behave!

If you are talking about sales, it has been very slow for me today.

If you are talking about the speed, I don't see a difference.

It would help if you would describe what you're trying to do.

You see, eBay is *always* slow for me. That's the way it has evolved. I have a zippy cable modem connection and lots of fast computers, but the slowness is eBay's latency.

Definition:

Latency is what happens after you click on a Submit button until you get a complete response from eBay.

Clock it sometime. You might be astonished at how long it takes eBay to respond.

That is why I've set up a listing farm so I can list 5 or more items simultaneously. I expect to save a ton of money on scheduling fees with this setup.

Fluffy, I love it. Is a "listing farm" a ranch that grows listings for us?!

No. It grows listings for ME.

You have to be careful not to plant them head-first, though. (cf chicken farm joke)

THE CHICKEN FARM JOKE (the way it was told to me)

A new farmer goes into a farm supply store and orders two hundred chicks. Two weeks later, he returns to the store and buys another two hundred chicks. The owner is curious, but doesn't say anything. The same thing happens when the farmer returns in another two weeks for another two hundred chicks.

When he returns for the fourth time, the owner's curiosity is too much for him, so he asks the new farmer why he keeps coming back for so many chicks. The farmer says, "Well, I guess I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what. Maybe I should be planting them feet-first instead of head-first."

Bemused by his lack of success, the farmer sends off a report to the local extension office, asking for advice. Three weeks later, the reply comes back, saying simply, "Please send soil sample."
