On Ebay, how do I edit a listing so that the changes show up in that separate box at the end that says something like "At hh: mm: dd on mmm-dd seller added the following information" ?
When I revise an item, all I can find is the "Edit Description" link, which lets me edit the raw html for my listing and make changes in-place. Normally this is what I want. But once in a while I want to call attention to a change, and it seems to me that using that "add to Description" would fit the bill.
I'm sure it's simple, but I just haven't found it yet - what am I missing?

I am still trying to figure out why you would want to point out a mistake in your listing when you can correct it as if it never happened. This usually will toss a red flag to potential buyers. But if you must, you could edit your listing and simply type in "edited to add" .........
If your item had a bid, then it would have given you a link to add to the description.

Stone-
The only reason I want the change to be visible is that I originally thought (and said) that "owning this will qualify you for an upgrade..." . Someone pointed out to me that the product would NOT uqalify for an upgrade. In case someone was counting on that I thought it would be best to make the change visible.
Lucy-
I've noticed PayPal additions tacked onto the end, and I've seen other auctions with no bid but changes added. Perhaps they were carried over as relists?
I'd probably put the no-upgrade stuff right in the auction in larger type than the rest. Maybe in color. It will be more visible there than way down at the bottom.
If you post an auction number I'll take a look and give you MHO.
Seems to me PayPal logos, etc., have always gone in at the end. I could be wrong, it's been so long since I manually added PayPal. Mine are part of the description.
You're probably right - auctions without bids but with an addition to description at the end could be relists where the addition was made after a bid was placed.
