The free store listings from the latest promotion will end a month from tomorrow.
They'll probably come up with something a few days after that. Either a straight FLD, or may one for fixed-price.

I just received an email for free listing days for first time sellers. I wonder if I sell on my buying ID if that would count? ( I wonder how many sellers will just start a new ID )

Oh, just what we need. New sellers. We need new buyers, not new sellers.

C'mon, new sellers are great. They make lots of mistakes. They misprice. They often don't know what they have.
New sellers are a lot of fun. I don't buy much on eBay any more, but if I thought there would be a huge influx of new sellers, I'd be at it again. Too good to resist.

The FLD for new sellers is in the UK only and is limited to 10 listings.

We are going to be reborn NEW sellers for the UK free listing on some posting only IDs. I'll make sure we have lousy photos and short descriptions filled with typos but just enough to lure in bidders thinking they'll get a bargain. Then sit back and watch the action. (Since we have a virtual strangle hold on certain items - bidders might be curious about a new source, especially when our regular seller ID is on holiday.)

Haven't they always done the FLD in July sometime, that's when I figure they'll do it. I don't think E-Bay is that hungry yet.

Actually, barparts, that's not true. There's a U.S. FLD for new sellers. I got a postcard in the mail. Didn't anyone else?
It's for a week, and you only get one free listing. Whoop-de-fa-la-doo.

It's not just the U.S., it's that C-word country too.

Wow, I knew about the UK 10 listing thing and thought, OK a token gesture to get newbies on.
But holy cow, one free listing on ebay USA. Lets shut down the country for this event. Woo Hoo. This event will be the biggest joke in US history.
