This is a really basic question & I can't believe I can't figure this out! I use Turbo Lister and have just signed up for vendio image hosting. I can't figure out how to put the picture in the auction in Turbo Lister. What is the URL that I should use. Thanks to all for your help....I've searched & no one else has asked this stupid question!

you have to right click on the picture, then click properties and copy the url...then on the html side <center><img src=" your url here"></center>

I can't help you with your question, but since you're using Vendio to host your pictures have you tried Sales Manager Pro? I've been using it for a while now and love it!

I agree Cheryl...if purplesister4 is already paying Vendio they should use whatever they offer in the same price range. I use the turbo lister and boomspeed . 6.00 flat fee a month to host picture....turbo is free to use. so .35 a listing on ebay unless I add a gallery and it could have as many pictures I want to add

Sales Manager Pro doesn't cost me anything. It's far easier to click on the picture you want to use than it is to put in the html each and every time. It also allows you to use the template gallery where you can design your own. Boomspeed sounds more reasonable price-wise than Vendio. How is their service? Pretty reliable?

Thanks toast for the reply, but it still is not working. All I am getting is a camera -- or is that what it is supposed to do? I thought about using Sales Mgr from Vendio - like their templates. Read another thread earlier this evening entitled "better photo hosting site" from early May. They talked about fotki.com at $30/yr unlimited storage & they give you the url for each photo. Also someone suggested www.pair.com 100 mg for $6.00 month; use ftp to upload. Thought I'd check those out too. Anyone know anything about these? Thanks!

Cheryl I've been using boomspeed for about 6 months they when down once the first month for about 3 hours ...when it came back up they had added a free e-mail account and a free sniper program (I haven't tried either of them yet) then about 3 months into it the went down for about a hour and once again 2 weeks ago for about 1-1/2. All three times it was on like a tuesday so it really didn't hurt my sells plus I use the first free pic at ebay so if they go down I still have at least one picture.

purplesister4 are you paste'n the link in the writing on the html side? sounds like your still trying to use ebay pictures

toast, that boomspeed sound interesting!

I pasted the url in the html view by clicking on the picture boxes and pasting in the url as you said. I tried the same thing in the design view & only got a drawing of a camera w/ the words "sample picture". I just tried pasting in the url as you said into the actual html wording part in the html view and ta-da - i had a picture! I could see the word http:// , so I took that out. Still have the picture! Is it supposed to be such a huge view? Maybe I should have taken the url for the thumbnail.

I need to get busy now & get some auctions up!

Thanks!

your welcome purplesister4 ! I always resize my picture to 340 x 255 in paint shop pro before loading them to boomspeed so they are not so big. Heres the link to simple HTML with ebay http://www.eobcards.com/tutorial3.htm the simple things like <center></center> make a big diffence...lines everything up. Hope this helps !
