I think I'm going to really like it.
Love the 31 days so you can see what you sold in a full month.
I can't seem to find the payment reminder now - hope we didn't lose that. It was a great tool.
Vendio watch out - think they are after your customers here??

There should be a drop down menu to the right of your sold item (a square with a down arrow) that allows you to send a payment reminder. The only think they need to add to that list is a link to file an NPBA and to file to get your fees back. Other than that, I love it!

I have to admit that I haven't even checked it out before, I kept meaning to, now I have no choice. Some of us older folks don't like change, but that doesn't mean that change is not good. I just opened a store, and am still struggling with that, but I'll get there! I have one question. 2 of my listing have a box that says "my note", what is that for?
You will probably see me here asking questions, I really appreciate you guys who take the time to help those of us who need help.

The note is for any notations you want to make to the auction. You can remove those. I don't know why they sometimes automatically show up. Check the box next to the auction. Click on Add Note. Delete what is in the note section and click save. The note comes in handy with sold auctions. I use it when someone says they are sending a check or mo. I put the date they contacted me and the payment method they are using. It saves me from having to search for their email.

Apparently, I'm in the minority here. I HATE the new "My eBay"!

I tried it a couple of weeks ago and opted back out within 30 minutes. Now I wake up today and find it with no choice.

I guess I'm just one of those 'old dogs' and I don't want to learn the new trick.

Thanks Cheryl, that is a real help, I think I will find it useful. I really like seeing how many "watches" there are, also, the buyers ID without having to click on the auction. Once I get used to it, I'm sure I will like it.

I HATE the new MY EBAY too! I can't tell store items from auctions and I store them in two different places! I kept trying to use the "new" one because it has some good new features and always opted back to the "old" one because this thing is just too cumbersome and has a lot of information I simply don't need. "Customization" is a laugh. Can someone please tell me where the "paid" column for paypal payment is?? I don't have any "send invoices" showing - is that because I sent all out before I went to bed? Yesterday I had a two day view of "sold" items in the NEW BAY and today I can only get one day or next increment is 7...YUCK! I WANT TO OPT OUT but CAN"T!

I think I like it to. All the information is in front of you. However under Items I have sold you can go back 60 days. Was trying to print the list but doesn't seem to work. I do like the "watching" feature.

I'm not happy with the new My Ebay either!!! Neglus is right... all my auctions are now blending in with my store items! Aren't they supposed to be using a legend (the store tag) to identify the store items? I hope that's just a glitch that will be fixed!

My other big problem... is where are the totals? Has anyone figured out how to get the total prices for all the auctions that you're running? I like to know how much my auctions are going for during the week, without pulling out a calculator! Why'd ebay have to mess this up?

The one thing that I do like... is that we can now see how many people are watching our items. That's almost worth all the rest of the problems.

Neglus,

I found the answer to one of your questions.... to show only 2 days of your sold items... click on the Customize link for the sold items. Then, in the "Custom Period" field... type "2" so that it reads "Show items for last 2 days". Then, hit the save button. Then, return to the Item's I've sold section and from the period drop-down menu choose the "Custom" selection. Whew... that's a lot more work than just typing 2 in the box with the old system. Frustrating, isn't it?!?!

I don't use either the new or old My eBay.

My eBay has consistently been the most bug-riddled eBay feature. I don't trust the data and I certainly don't trust it to give me a complete view.

I have way too many customers who rely on My eBay when paying. They'll send me a printout of it and invariably there are auctions they won that don't show up in their listing.

My eBay is bad juju.

Count me in with the group that hates the new My Ebay too. It took me several minutes to figure out how to get to the "old" Feedback page.

EAUCTION: I already tried your solution but I can't get it to work - says 2 days but just shows 1.

HMM! It shows my "2" day total (items sold on the 18th) when I customize to 3 days..do they mean COUNTING TODAY and not 48 hours? MUY STUPIDO!!

The changes you ask for will not show up on your "My summary" page (even though it shows items you're selling)--which comes up first. You have to go to the left column and click on your selling page.

Can anyone figure out how to display your selling page first when you go toMy eBay INSTEAD of the summary page?!?

Don't know about you, but my summary page is just plain wrong--but then I don't use their lousy invoice system.

This new My eBay is a PITA!!!! There was nothing wrong with the old system. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, thank you very much.

Hi...a little confusing...time to get use to...I think it is the beginning of further changes to tighten up the site, bidding, non registered users, etc.
Once again, change = challenge
We all can handle it...
hang in there

Ok..one good thing I found in the "selling" list (other than watchers which is good but doesn't mean DIDDLY) is that the store items aren't mixed in with the other items! YAY!

I don't like it. This morning none of my auctions were showing up in it. They weren't showing up in my listings page either. Brief panic. They're back now...but for how long were they gone?

I had a headache trying to figure it out this morning; however I found some features that I really like! I can now mark an item as paid if the person paid via money order or cashier's check. That is a blessing! Another blessing for me is I can make notes on all my items. For instance, I can make a note on an item when I filed for NPB which is super! Also, because I only put keywords in my title, I can now make a note to know exactly what the item is without always opening the auction. It has its good points and bad points, but because it looks like it's hear to stay, I'll focus on the positive.

Hi Bizzy...you're right...some good, some confusing...spent most of the morning trying to assimilate it...with 4 sites, even more confusing.
Overall, it appears like it is putting all the info in one place and it is up to the seller to organize it.
You're right - its here to stay...probably some other changes coming as well. I suspect eBay wants to tighten up on control of 'their' site and who has access to it.
Some of the outside sources are making money on relatively easy applications that eBay could simply do themselves...charge for it...and have the control and ownership.

I really like the New E-Bay. My old one was a pain it had not worked right in 6 months,I could never get into, and complained to E-Bay but they could never fix it. At least this one works like a charm.

Well, I am not sure if I like it or not. It is easier to read if nothing else. I guess it will take some getting used to, but I can live with it.

Thepriest -- It looks like Sellathon won't be needed any longer with the latest enhancements for those of us with an ebay store. We can access the same information for free. And now it's nice to see how many bidders are watching my items at a glance. I really like that!

I hate most of the new MY EBAY, but like a few things.

First, I use the MY EBAY feature to monitor my auctions daily. Half of the "permanent features" I don't use, and cannot remove them from their system. The other feature I really enjoyed was selecting the amount of days I wish to view items for was a simple click, enter a number and click. Now I have to go to a drop box that doesn't give me the options I mostly use.

I don't mind the layout, but I do want more control of MY EBAY. I'm glad they added more features to help us, but they also took away some valuable ones as well.

Add me to the "not sure" group. I just tried to leave a batch of feedback comments...and missed the "leave feedback" option. Finally got to it by clicking on my feedback number and there it was, at the bottom. Not as easy as the other way though...did I miss an easy way?

Good News! You can still access your old "my ebay" thru www.ebay.ca

I'm not sure how long it will be before they "improve" this site too.

Ah, the advantage of taking the trial run before the new My Ebay was mandatory. . . .

I still like it.
