I think this is a Macbeth-Evans platter, and I was thinking Cremax pattern, but my ebay search doesn't prove that out... anyone here know what this pattern was named? Thanks in advance.

no ID markings on it .... just a pattern of rings on bottom... I'm 99.9% certain it is old MacbethEvans, I just can't remember the name of this particular pattern. Thanks.

According to one of Gene Florence's depression glass books, you're right. It is Cremax by Macbeth-Evans and it was made in the late 1930s and early 1940s.

Marcia

I'm just going to have to come down to where you are and shop with you. Can't find anything up here that isn't already in an antique shop.

We're going to the towpath today. Starting at Boston Mills Rd and going south. I hope it's not flooded and I hope we don't get rained on! We should have gone yesterday since it was dry all day!
