Hi everybody,

Okay, now, I do truly realize I'm leaving myself wide open to your warped sense of humor.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out a new name for an eBay ID I set up a couple of years ago. Have never used it but figured it would come in handy and the name it has now is simply ridiculous!

You guys know me pretty well so I thought I'd come here. Any suggestions?

Please, please, be kind!

Lucy

I promise nothing family friendly
What is the main emphasis of the ID going to be?

Mainly bidding anonymously. Maybe listing things that aren't what I generally sell.

I had the same idea as glassgrl LOL!

YardarmLucy - 2BuckGourmet - 2BuckChalice*

*inspired by an all-time favorite by Jimmy Buffett "Tin Cup Chalice" which I happened to be listening to when I did this

Okay, one more edit LOL - Lucy, everytime I read your "sun coming up over the yardarm" I think of this song! Here's the lyrics in case you were wondering - don't know if you like oysters and beer, but the rest of the song seems to fit your saying...

I wanna go back to the island
Where the shrimp boats tie up to the pilin'
Gimme oysters and beer
For dinner every day of the year and I'll feel fine
I'll feel fine

I wanna be there
Wanna go back down and lie beside the sea there
With a tin cup for a chalice, fill it up with good red wine
And I'm a' chewin' on a honeysuckle vine

Yeah now, the sun goes slidin' 'cross the water
Sailboats they go searchin' for the breeze
Salt air it ain't thin
It can stick right to your skin and make you feel fine
Makes you feel fine

I wanna be there
Wanna go back down and a' get high by the sea there
With a tin cup for a chalice, fill it up with good red wine
And I'm a' chewin' on a honeysuckle vine

Yes and now you heard my strange proposal
So get that Packard up and let's move
I wanna be there before the day
Tries to steal away and leave us behind
I've made up my mind

And I wanna be there
I wanna go back down and die beside the sea there
With a tin cup for a chalice, fill it up with good red wine
And I'm a' chewin' on a honeysuckle vine

Yeah, with a tin cup for a chalice, fill it up with good red wine
And I'm a' chewin' on a honeysuckle vine

You guys are coming up with some great ideas!

One name I thought might be kinda catchy was Dizzy-Bizzy-Tizzy. Kinda goes with the LucyLaffs AOL name I used a zillion years ago.

WGM,

I don't think I've ever heard that song. I hope I do because the lyrics are wonderful!

Gives me shivers...

Thanks for posting.

Hi Toasted,

Actually, I don't much like cats! Neither does my parrot...

LuciFur is a great suggestion.

Edited to add: Just think what I could do with that name... Heh heh heh...

Thanks,

Lucy

LooseyGoosey's taken. Registered Aug-15-99. Big fat goose-egg feedback.

Good thought though.

Lady, that's a great one!

I'm sure Fluffy will be very comfortable knowing I won't try to kidnap her monster!

She prolly wouldn't much like my parrot either. All that bird food and feathers on the floor. He's molting... Ugh...

How about Parrot_Packin_Lucy , Lucy_Loves_Parrots or Peanuts_For_Parrots lol the list could go on forever.
Do you collect anything? Maybe we can work that into a name

I like where you guys are going...

Here's one that hasn't been used yet. Lucy_Loves_Parrots_But_Not_Cats

Whatcha think?

I agree, anyone getting a bid from a name that was registered two years ago and has NO feedback will probably have a collie-wobble or two.

Lucy_Im_Home. I just love that show.

Lucy, I know what you mean about feathers and seeds! I have a cockateil that's molting like crazy! He's also extra noisey right now. He whistles the Andy Griffith show over and over and over and. . .I almost think it's his mating call! He couldn't keep the seeds in his dish if his life depended upon it. I think he does a lot of seed spitting. Nothing sucks seeds like a bugie with no beak, as my boyfriends says.

Cheryl,

Mr. Bird is way more mellow and quiet now that nesting season is over. I was getting pretty darned tired of the silly thing lusting after my shoulder! At least now he stays in his cage and behaves his little self.

The floor I can deal with. Ten minutes with a broom and dustpan and it's done!
