For about year I listed batches 1-3 times a week, usually as items became available. I began to see my sell-through fall to 50% and winning bid prices fall too.
This year I started listing large batches every 2 weeks. I've found that the sell-through rate is back up to over 90% and winning bid prices have tripled.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts on what works for you?
Note:
1. I do not relist the same lots.
2. I did not change my minimum bid.
3. There are many other sellers of the same items.

For high-volume listers, there comes a point at which you oversaturate your market. For me, that point is about 400 concurrent items...which is why I have multiple seller IDs.
But if you're only doing 50-75 at a time, odds are you're not blinding bidders with your sheer volume.
Have any of your competitors dropped out, like the ones that have higher opening bids?

I guess I really can't tell any difference among the "competitors". I guess I'll just have to keep plugging along and perhaps it will come clearer to me in time. Thanks for the input.

Batching lots definitely helps my sell-through - I do offer shipping discounts for multiple purchases, my record I think is 21 items by one person. If they know it will be a decent price to ship, people will go through just your auctions and bid.
