I have a buyer who has purchased several sets of china. Emailed me for shipping charges. I emailed back & it bounced. No such address on AOL. Then about an hour ago I get notice of instant payment from PayPal with S&h of $10.00. This was from comcast.net. I have sent an email to this new address asking for $XX.00 more for shipping. What would have done? We are talking about 4 settings of 6 pieces each. Packed in 2 boxes of 9# & 16#. Going to Zone 5 by FedEx Ground. Minimum charge of $16.00 plus cost of boxes. I use only new boxes, so thats another $2.00. Packing materials & my time $5.00. My total $25.300. Good or Bad??

Refund the payment and send a corrected PayPal invoice.

Sounds like he switched from AOL to Comcast and forgot to update his Ebay info. Which means the eoa he gets from Ebay will bounce back to them. If this is a repeat customer that has bought from you before, I would call him on the phone and give him the correct charges and tip him off about updating his email address with Ebay. Otherwise he will be facing a suspension, and we certainly don't want that to happen to a paying customer, only to deadbeats.

If it's Mr. rci we're talking about, he looks like trouble.

You need a big spray can of Bozo Preventative (aka Immediate Payment Required).

I would refund the payment and I think you can tell why you are refunding. If you can, ask them to pull your contact information and give you a call. I think a lot of people are switching from AOL, but I can't be positive.

Well, I used the new address that was on the P/P message. He sent the amount asked for & apologized & saiod he would change ebay email address. This another newbie who just came on eBay 3 weeks ago. Has zero feedbacks, but will 4+ now.
