Guess it must be the time for deadbeats on both sides of this Auction business. I have had 3 sellers in the last 2 months who never replied to emails and never sent the items! Makes me mad as heck!

Yes, I'll continue bidding but 2 of the sellers had 100+ positive feedback and I thought they would be OK.

Now Yahoo...forgetaboutit! 1 out of 4 didnt bother to send the item.

Did you check to see if the transaction went through and if so I would report them. If you used paypal can you reverse the transaction? I haven't had that problem yet and I sure hope I never do...Maybe this is one reason cell phone companies give free unlimited minutes after 9 pm.

Anything over $10 I pay with paypal only for this reason. I've had to file a chargeback before, it is nice to have some sort of protection as a buyer.

Hi everyone, I just came in to ask a couple of blonde questions and see a lot of people in different threads saying they never receive anything from a buyer or seller after auction end. In the last 5 months I have had approximately 8 buyers unable to receive my emails because their ISP blocks anything with a link or anything they feel is spam or junk mail. Also some have personal spam filters wil be set and not allow my my invoices or emails with any links. I am dealing with one now where I sent no less than 12 invoice and replies to his emails and I never get a answer. I finally will pull contact information and phone them after I invoice or reply several different ways. I go through Ebay's mail, I go through PayPal invoices. I also request money and place in the subject area I cannot reach them. I also send emails with no links, just I can't contact you. I try everything. I had one buyer I finally phoned and Cox.net stopped emails for a week by that time and she had no idea. I am sure you have all thought this could be happening but I wanted to alert everyone because it gets worse and then gets better for awhile. I have 2 this week alone. AOL blocks my emails more than anyone.
So check out junk mail and spam folders and phone your ISP as to who is blocked this week. They block according to who is caught allowing spam to be sent. Does not mean you sent any, just someone using the same email or ISP service. spamhaus.com and the larger one out there, I can't remember the name, will have lists they go by. I have gone in and found our ISP on the list twice. It's crazy if you ask me.

Did you for sure pay? I am assuming you attempted to use PayPal. Did you pay using the link on ebay or pay directly from your PayPal account?

I have had a rash of people attempt to pay via the ebay link in which the transaction never completed. It shows paid on ebay when in reality it did not complete. Check your paypal account directly to confirm the payment actually was sent.

I'm also having a terrible time with a seller. This is a first for me.

I paid through PayPal immediately after the auction.

Waited several days, never got any notice from seller. Then while in PayPal I saw that the payment was unclaimed.

I checked e-mail address against the one on ebay and they matched. So I wrote seller asking if they received payment.

Three days later I got note from seller, saying they don't show payment on their account. I cancelled payment and resent it, copy and pasting e-mail address from note.

Showed up as unclaimed. Wrote seller again, asking if this was the correct e-mail address as I was showing it unclaimed.

Several days passed then note. My account doesn't show a payment.

I copied and pasted my Paypal payment, asked again if they had another e-mail address where they accept payment, because this shows them as unregistered.

Several more days passed - response. I still don't show payment on my account. I don't know what to do.

I sent another e-mail telling her to send me a billing from PayPal. This was last Friday and I have still not heard back from them. Still showing unclaimed on PayPal, I'll be cancelling this one shortly.

I know it's a wrong address, but what do you do with a seller takes forever to respond to e-mail and doesn't seem to have a clue.

It's been over a month and I'm still trying to pay for this thing.

This seller is going to get the biggest neg from me, even if I eventually get the item.

Not Dragonfyree anywhere but here.

It's not just you. I won an auction back on May 12th and never received the item. After e-mailing the seller 3 times they finally write back that they don't know what happened, but they have another exact same item and if I'd want it to let them know or they'd refund me back through Paypal. That was last week. I wrote and said I'd rather have my money back. I still have no refund. I think they forgot to send my item (why they happen to have another one when it's a harder to find item) and they were ignoring my emails. Now I have no item, no refund and still no word from seller.

Thing is they have almost 600 feedbacks with only one neg and one recent neutral (for slow shipping). Yet this transaction has been anything but enjoyable for me.

you have upto june 12 to file complaint with paypal.
if they cannot produce an online trackable dc,they will lose and you will get your money back.
dont wait for the seller to refund, you have only a few days left to file.
