Destroyed that Angel of Hope, Life,,,,,A second chance..A chance.The end of the Tunnel,,Going HOME!,,,,.Ship. RIP. The USS. Repose represents what War is REALLY all about,,,,,,,The END of the end of the insanities of War..strewn with broken bodies and broken dreams,,, the Armless, the legless, the blind,,,the sexless......,,I Spent two months on that Ship as a Marine Patient. (NO!!!!!!!!!! NOT AS A MENTAL PATIENT!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahaha )

If you care to click a few times, there is something that says,,,The Pilots View,,,,,,,A big Map comes up,,, A Helicopter will become your prompt. Quang Tri, Dong Ha,,,,,Cam Lo,,,,,,,,are on the map. It took me back........I just cracked up when the Helicopter,,, says what it says,,,,, when you land it on Quang Tri,,,for 12 months,,,,,that was my Address,,,,,Trust the Pilot......He wants to go Home...........

WOW!!!!!!!I am puttin' ALL MY G.I.Joes on ebay like Pronto! Three Joes in an Jeep.

Pres. Reagan Mem. is gonna go like crazy!!!!!!!! this month.....If ya got it,,,,you WILL sell it. I wishI had that Pardon letter,,,,signed when He was gov.

NOOOOO, NOT from PRISON!!!!!!!! I was hitch hicking as Young Marine,,,dropped off in a clover leaf overpass by a driver,,,,,CHP gave me a ride to Main Gate at El Toro Marine Base, and then wrote the citiation. (jerk!) Gov. Reagan sent me a Pardon letter, I got it in Vietnam......I guess it's still there......hahahahaha. I had to pay the ENTIRE ticket amount plus late fees to get my California D.L...............

and the beats gone on,,,,,,,,,,,

Yes, Jack. A personal thankyou to you, and all the people who went over there for our freedom. I dont know why the issue hits such a place with me, but perhaps its because they are the unsung heros for things we take so much for granted.

My Dad did not take part in D-Day because he was already a prisoner of war. He did not even know I existed for a couple of years, I was nearly 4 by the time he came home. He NEVER recovered from his experiences, our whole family suffered for many years because of it. We are English, and although I don't rememeber any of it, I know many who took part.
