Hey guys,

I wanted to let you know that buyers are not able to combine auctions in one payment via Paypal going through Ebay's checkout today. I have paid two sellers for my multiple purchaes today but had to print the combined data & totals from Ebay, log onto the Paypal site and send the funds that way.

Guess what? When the error message comes up it says:

"We are temporarily unable to combine purchases, please try again later.
You can always pay for items individually by clicking the Pay Now button from My eBay."

Guess what any newbie/less experienced buyers will do?

Ha Ha! Ebay figures out yet another way to make sellers lose more of their hard earned profits. You know, there's some worm of an Ebay employee who sits in his cubicle/office and figures out what "glitch" they can arrange so Ebay rakes in yet more.

Yes, I know sellers most sellers will not discount the shipping if each is paid separately, but newbie buyers will still expect it.

Disgusted

Since the wonderful and new Ebay 2.0, I haven't been able to combine auctions.

popnrock,

You are right. I tried to pay for one item I had with a seller later and Paypal is not working through Ebay's checkout. Dorks. They are always breaking something that didn't need fixing!

I've been telling buyers to go to "Items I have Won" at the PayPal site to pay for items..that seems to be working and combining ok.

There is an "Items I have Won" link on Paypal? How did I miss THAT?!!"

Jeez, that would save me a lot of work.

Yes - it is on the opening page Account Overview at the top, on the line that starts with the eBay logo: "Recent Activity"

Neglus,

Thanks! I found it easily now. Just never noticed to change, whenever it was added.

But when I clicked on it, I get an error message there that says:

An error occurred while processing your Pay for eBay Items.

The password for XXXXXXXXXXX has been rejected by eBay. Please change your auction password. To change your auction password, click on the 'My Account' tab, click the 'Profile' subtab, and choose the 'Auctions' link from the 'Selling Preferences' column.

I don't use the same password for Ebay as for Paypal and don't intend to make them the same. It doesn't even give the option of "logging onto your eBay account" or ask me for my Ebay ID or password.

OH!!!!

I just realized it meant I had changed my Ebay password in Ebay, the recorded in one in Paypal didn't match and needed to update it. I must be braindead!

ZI fixed it and everything works fine.

Tnanks,Neglus!
