Hi,
Help! I am not sure how to set up my mailstep account. I had the Pay Pal payments going to [email protected] as they told me, but now there is no way to claim them as I can't verify that email address. I have funds sitting in my Pal Pal account under that name that I guess I am going to ask the customers to take back as they are showing up as unclaimed, and then send them a bill. Please help me with any suggestions. I feel so stupid but can't figure this out for the life of me. Where do I list the mailstep address and where do I list my regular email address so that everything works fine and so that when people pay my it shows up in my post sale notifications on my closed auctions list.

Hi,

I just wanted to jump in here and let you know that Mailstep is unnecessary now as we have implemented PayPal IPN, which is a better system. For instructions on setting up IPN, click here.

You might want to consider eliminating your Mailstep address from eBay and Paypal, as we may eventually phase Mailstep out entirely. Mailstep is no longer required to accelerate the close of BIN items, and IPN will replace the Mailstep functionality on PayPal.

If you have questions about setting up IPN, please email us - you can access our Contact Us form by clicking the "Help" link under the navigation tabs.

Thanks,

Diana
