I have spent most of the day relisting auctions for Ebay's 10 cent fixed price sale. The last time that I listed these auctions, I put a subtitle because it was then free with Ebay. Now, I have edited the auctions and deleted the wording for the subtitle. However, I have launched two of those auctions and have been charged 50 cents for the subtitle (the ads have the subtitle even though I deleted it). I have placed this message with the sales manager's forum with no answer. Can anyone help or having the same problem?

Sounds to me like you're out a buck on the 2 auctions that launched. Get the 99 cent fries instead of the supersize, or turn the lights off in your house for a day.

I had this same problem relisting an item I had first listed with a subtitle during the recent penny days.
I carefully deleted the subtitle in sales manager and did an Ebay Preview, that did NOT show a charge for subtitle. But when the listing went up on ebay, it had the original subtitle. Once the item is listed in Ebay with a subtitle, you cannot remove it.
As for the relisting through Vendio, I had Chris in Vendio Customer Service watch the second item I tried this on and here is what he wrote to me:
"Hello,
You should request a refund from eBay for the fees on the items already
submitted, due to lack of support on their end for this option. Until
eBay offers the ability to remove the subtitle through their API, we may
have to remove the option to even remove the subtitle on our end, to
avoid any future confusion.
Because of this missing feature on their API, there is no way to simply
relist and remove the features and have them post that way. One way or
another, you will need to request a refund after the items are posted "
I immediately cancelled the auction on ebay, and relisted directly on ebay, deleting the subtitle. I then applied to Ebay for a full credit for all fees on the first item (which was accepted). I also applied to vendio for a refund, which was also accepted. I had to import the item into Vendio to get post-sale tracking (though the counter isn't working quite right).

I am just shocked. Amazing how these problems are in eBay's favor.
You know...the best way to defeat a liberal is to let them speak.
