I have a new computer with Windows XP replacing the one I had with Win 98. I logged onto ebay and the little lock icon indicating secure log-in did not show after I logged in. It doesn't appear on vendio either. Other sites I use regularly show the lock. Is there something I need to set in my Explorer settings or what?
I'm not a techie, but I could have sworn that I used to have the little security lock when I was logged in both to ebay and vendio.

Vendio's "My Account" is encrypted (the little lock icon is closed).
eBay's "My Account" is not encyrpted (lock icon open).
I have XP, too.

Thanks, everyone. I realized that the lock goes on when I move to My Account in Vendio. I guess I wasn't remembering correctly about eBay. It does come up when I go to PayPal site and some other sites, so I guess this is just one of those senior moments.
