Makes me wish I had a retail wine permit so I could register to sell in the wine category. This stuff will probably be in quite a bit of demand shortly.

Just give us the gist of the article. Most people don't want to waste their time registering with a podunk paper.

Parklane...The changed the destination of the url after I posted it. I changed it to a different paper so it works now. In te event they change this one, it's an article about Charles Shaw wine becoming a gold medal finalist in an international wine competition.

All of us California winebibbers knew this!! How great for them. Hope their prices don't go up.

I live near Corning, NY!
We cannot buy this here! Actually, we'll probably never be able to buy it. The state of PA owns the liquor stores here and let's just say the wine list is extremely lacking. It just frosts my cake....they have a monopoly in this state! If there was a little good ole American competition, we might get something decent!...and affordable.

I didn't realize you can sell this on eBay, but the mish-mash of state laws make it difficult to do mail order wine sales.
I was by coincidence hearing this on the radio just now; only issue their wine reviewer had was that there were production inconsistencies, but the Charles Shaw Shiraz was pretty good. I am not really a wine drinker, so hate to spend a lot on it when it all pretty much tastes like lighter-fluid to me, but when I go to Trader Joe's I see everyone in line seems to be buying cases of this stuff. My sister in California is a wine nut, and she says their merlot is pretty good, fyi.
Edited because I didn't realize eBay allowed this; I recalled that they didn't allow food products, etc. That must have been a long time ago.
