This week I have received 3 letters in three days from 3 different "individuals" with old multi million scam. Kind of interesting as I have never had one before. My sweetie says she gets them all the time Anyone else getting them?

I get 3 a day and 1 snail-mailed per week. Sadly, lots of greedy people fall for these get-rich-quick scams so it only encourages others dishonest 3rd-Worlders!

No I haven't gotten any. BUT I did get signed up for a long distance company without my permission and was charged $40.00 for their services that I neither requested nor wanted.

i received a check from ATT in the mail for 45 dollars to switch,so i called a number and the lady is pleasant .
Then i asked -how is the weather in India, and she said it is raining.
so i said-the entire india is raining??
she said no,i am in bangalore and it is raining.
I lost interest and hanged up.

ATT is VERY aggressive! When I had them as my long distance provider, I was getting phone calls from them, 2-3 times a day wanting to sell me add-on services. No matter what I did they wouldn't stop calling me.
The solution? I dumped them. Gee, funniest thing, no more calls.

Ok ... So does that mean that Vendio sells our addresses and phone numbers to other companies? Or should I go "down under" to find out the answer? AND will they tell me the truth?

Those letters from Nigeria are big business these days. Check out http://www.419eater.com/index.htm for more information, as well as a few laughs.
