I haven't searched for a whole category for a long time on ebay. Tonight when I searched for "wall pocket," a page came up that I'm very unfamiliar with! There are no thumbnails next to the item names, the item numbers are listed FIRST, and I had to click on "picture gallery" to bring up those items with pictures (formerly the little thumbnails). Have I been totally out to lunch for a while? Or is this new? It's really destructive, I think. How many searchers will know to ASK for the pictures?

There is a setting for the display. "Customize Display" next to "Sort By" near the top.

If you ask for gallery it shows the items with the 25 cent gallery first before the items without gallery. It appears the items without gallery will never get to the top of the list.

Thanks! I just discovered something else in the customizing dept. there. If I check to eliminate the item NUMBER, the old thumbnails appear at the left as before, intermingled with those without thumbnails. How many new buyers will discover this quickly?

These changes are pretty appalling.

Thank god you can kill the thumbnails. Want to talk about a slow loading page. I want to see the auction numbers and if the auction has a photo or not. That is it. I find way too many people when using thumb nails pass on good auctions that otherwise they would look at and oftem purchase.
