Thank you sparkz for that information!
We were driving many miles out of our way to get to a Fed-Ex shipping center, since Fed-Ex is about $1.50 per package cheaper than UPS when there is not a daily pickup.
Now, because sparkz brought it to our attention, we can now drive up the road, to an area that is not out of our normal path, and drop our ground packages off at Kinko's.
We called and the ground driver picks up at 4:00 PM at the location nearest us.

i think UPS is inside office depot??
why not just ask USPS to come and pick up from your home,if you have just one USPS priority or INTL express package, they will pick up the rest-media,first class etc.

Our experience tells us it is not cost effective to use USPS for heavier packages, especially when the packages need a lot of insurance.
We use the USPS for most of our shipments, but for heavy packages, the other shippers are almost a requirement.
At least in our neighborhood, Office Depot allows you to ship UPS, however from our experience, the price would generally be about $1.50 per package higher than Fed-Ex ground since it is not a daily pickup.
In our neighborhood, you cannot drop off account packages at Office Depot. You must pay them to process it.
I think Mail Box Etc in some or all locations may accept UPS packages pre-processed with your account, but the $1.50 per package higher than Fed-Ex rule would still be a factor.
Many variables we realize, our comments are generalized.
