I was recently kicked from eBay for what they indicated where two items that were not delivered. I sent the tracking number for both items in however only one shows the item was delivered while the other tracking number doesn’t register in their system. These are very old auctions and in fact are so old; the item numbers are no longer in eBay’s system. I have sent numerous emails to the buyers with no reply. I have sent it all the requested information to them but am curious to know how long this process takes. Safe Harbor has no telephone support and they are not answering any of my emails. I have been a seller for 6 years with a feedback rating of almost 900 and a 98% positive feedback rating. Most of the items I sell are relatively expensive with an average price of around $300, none below $50. The suspension happened a few weeks ago and I am financial turmoil because of it. Because I have no income coming in and bills to pay, I am falling farther and farther behind on some of the items that were purchased but yet to be delivered. I must pay rent, car payment etc. or by the time they reinstate the account I will be selling from a homeless shelter. The longer the process takes the more complaints I may have before me. Does anyone know how long this process takes from the time you send the information into safe harbor and the time it is reinstated? Is there someone I can contact to plead my case? I am also interested in knowing of an alternate selling arena at least until this gets cleared up. I contacted eBay and they told me I could open a second account under another name. I did and immediately after those auctions ended they suspended that account as well presumably because of the previous suspension. This is my family’s only form of income and we are dangerously close to being destitute because of it. I am an honest and reputable seller and have been for quite sometime. I am extremely worried about this mess!

Diversify. Were you absent that day in kindergarten when they told us not to put all of our eggs in one basket? I have made this point here, before. You should have a website, presence on several on-line venues, and a business address even if it is only a pmb box.

You need to take action, either get a temporary source of funds or downsize your expenses. You can sell or convert an asset or get a line of credit. Do not depend on eBay. I said don't depend on eBay. If you do depend on eBay and it works, let us know. I told you not to depend on eBay.

on those 2 items not delivered, how did the bidders pay you??
you may have to call the bidder and offer to refund or send a replacement.
how can you ship expensive items without insurance??

Do you sell in the computer category?

I am curious as it seems you have payments but said you haven't shipped yet? Why?

Do as some here have said, try online chat or some here can give you a phone number.

Also temp agencies are a wonderful thing...

or go to a flea market and set up, or have a garage sale??

What about Yahoo? Amazon? Any other of the auction sites might at least pull in something.

good luck.

if you have access to another pc away from your home, you will be able to start a new seller id ,provided you have a credit card which has not been registered with ebay/

I'm wondering if your ebay account goes allll the way back and if you could find that auction there. Or in your "feedback left" (that is, for others). Good luck. Must be scary for you.

Ebay doesn't suspend accounts for once instance of any type of complaint.

So the whole story has not been told.

Also NOONE FROM EBAY will ever tell you to get a 2nd ID......... yeah friggin right!

So of course the other ID(s) were suspended as well.

If you claim that Ebay is your family's only income then you should be a powerseller or at least eligible and would have a PHONE NUMBER to call......

Your only choice would be to find a trade assistant and pay them their terms to sell your items for you from their account.

Gads - don't go to Yahoo - I just had my auction site hacked there. You think you can't get anywhere on eBay if you have a problem....try going over to Yahoo and get a problem taken care of. Awful!
