Although we will still be searching out antiques and unique things for ebay, Here is what is going on in our world:

Okay ... HERE'S a real 'bargain hunt' happening here in Ohio soon ...
We have been selling some of the contents of this JAMPACKED antique shop on ebay for 3 years ... it was owned by my father-in-law, who has passed away ... we have barely made a dent in the inventory, but we need to get it all liquidated soon and put the building up for sale, in order to pay off one very patient brother-in-law his portion of the estate. We don't know everything about everthing, so I am sure there are still many hidden treasures there! We have hired professional estate tag sale company. ...
So, if you are in the Ohio area in middle of July, PLEASE come on down!
Here is the ad we are going to have run in a few of the newspapers around here ...
(I'd only call this 'spam' if *we* were gonna get rich from it, but we're NOT, because all this %#$ money will have to go to my bro-in-law! dang!!!!)

okay... it IS sorta spam... but not really ... we just wanna pay off brother in law (sigh) .... big debt ........ there are truly many "awesome" things there, and of course, a lot of 'junk' ... I have found that to be true of most 'estates' .. a few treasures!, and a lot of junk ... ... ...but having been an antique man for his many years, Pops 'nice' things ARE ... REALLY ... NICE ... ... ....

Ahhh.... but it IS spam, pure and simple, and isn't permitted here.

I notice you've posted the same exact advertisement in two other places I've seen here on Vendio.

Vendio's User Agreement prohibits advertisements on the board.

Marcia

Email me prior to the sale. My memory is getting old (like the rest of me, LOL). Would be great to see you. Ken can bike ride while I help you AND shop.

Lucy

I've seen this on the boards before from other people. Why the big deal?

Give me a break!!

We are supposed to be looking for bargains and a way to make more money here. If someone has an estate sale and some of us can go , it's definitely ebay related. This has been done before and there is nothing wrong with it.

I'm in SW Ohio and I will definitely be there!!

Thanks for posting and letting us know.

I'd love to be there for the sale, unfortunately, it's a long was from home.
I collect Pre-Prohibition Breweriana and I'm mentally picturing what's there.
Good luck with the sale!

What's the difference between this and posters who so innocently say," Oh, look at this wondeful widget I'M GOING TO LIST, can you help me identify it?"

Wish I was in OHIO for this sale!!!!!!!
And I hope posters from Minnesota and Wisconsin mention any great sales they hear about.

well, Oops!!! ... just peeked in here during my little break from family festivities goin' on today.

Didn't really mean to upset anyone, so I apologize to those of you that don't like my posting. I noticed when I posted this down in the forum called 'Bargain Hunt' that that forum is used so very little, I didn't think anyone would see it , so I decided to stick it up here. I kind of considered this like the postings of the big Thousand Mile Yard Sale (or whatever that's called) ... we honestly do have a lot of neat things, I was hoping some of you within driving distance would like to come and take a look ... it'll be a 4-day tag sale, run by our favorite local professional tag sale lady. 1st day will be 20% off all of Dad's price tags, 2nd day 30%, then 40, then on Sunday 50% off, PLUS a bid box for earnest offers on the pricey stuff.

I will be really sad to see all the neat stuff 'go', but we gotta do what we gotta do ... after all Pops' stuff is gone, we will still attend estate sales and auctions to resell on ebay (and of course keep some things for our own interior decorating ... I call my style 'Early Bleak' LOL ) ... and I hope if Cheryl or Capolady or any other Ohioans and surrounding states folk come across an especially awesome sale they see coming up, that they'll let ME know! ... we just love antiques! ...

Thanks for your interest or disinterest ...

Blessings,
Marcia (not the tag sale 'marcia', she's not me; she just has the same first name as me) in Ohio

Yay, crowfarm!!!! I just LOVE Minnesota too! ... that's where MY folks are originally from, so I've been up there a lot ... matter of fact, one of my cousins from MN surprised us with his presence today, at the family party I am trying to go to right now. ... bye!!! ...

Max ... I might have some preprohibition beer bottles ... do you like them? Can't promise anything because it is SO hard to find anything there. Too much STUFF!

p.s. Everyone, Max is SO nice ... he would not accept the 10% I wanted to give him, for his identifying our Millersburg vase that sold last week. I just wanted to toot his horn. (does that sound bad? lol) ...
