I know this was made in Japan. The research I've done so far indicates that there are different forms of Tenmoku. One of which is Tessha. I don't think this is Tenmoku - Tessha, Can someone tell me if this is Tenmoku? Thanks

Who said that?

I know less than nothing about pottery or glassware so other than comic relief I don't really have anything to say. Ask about gemstones I could be useful then.
Regards,
Adrian

Nope, Paloma, they're wrong, you're right. We're just ignoring you!

Yeah, sure...

Sorry, I haven't a clue what Tenmoku might be. Almost sounds like some kind of new math.

Okay, I've been at this computer all day and I'm getting just a little bit silly.

Not new math, something you would put in a salad....

Sorry Can't help you. I have problems with American pottery so I haven't branched out into other countries.

AHHHH I feel so much better. (grin) Thanks everyone. I thought I had been asking too many questions lately and people were a little peeved at me or something.

If you ever end up with some Japanese pottery and don't know what it is. Here is a site that MAY help. It didn't help me very much in this case but it may help someone

Here's one on the Timeline of Japanese ceramics
