Sept. 2 update: My husband has figured out for me that if I turn off my Norton Auto-Protect when editing and saving photos, there are no delays whatsoever. (I'm just using and reusing my own diskettes, so there's nothing to protect myself from.) Whew--this is a real relief.



My Adobe photo editing is hanging up for long periods of time while I'm editing photos. When we check on what's happening in my computer, the SAVScan from Norton is churning and churning, checking out my photo disk.

Anybody have a clue? Or is it happening to you, too? We've spent quite a bit of time on this tonight; tomorrow we're asking a question of Norton to see if we can get some answers.

We did System Restore first, to about two weeks ago. No difference.
