My first e-mail this morning was from a buyer who did a BIN on the 30th. I mailed it out on Oct 2. It was returned to me on the 8th with no explanation. I e-mailed her explaining what happened and that I was sending it again. The next day she wrote wanting to know where it was. I wrote her back and explained again. That was a Saturday and the following Monday was a holiday. Today I get this:

I still have not received the Austism car magnet. You said that it was returned to you??? and that you mailed it back to me AGAIN...Well,were do you live? because for a "buy it now" item that weighs next to nothing this is the longest I have ever waited for a package from anyone on ebay. I would greatly appreciate a refund so I can by an Austism car magnet from someone eles. I was really hoping to have this while we travel on our 1st trip (vacation) with our Autistic son. NOT TO HAPPY

This was my next e-mail from a different customer:

sent different item than pictured (poor condition), also ask too much personal info for some kind of junk mail list.... SO I decided to Not leave any feed back....Best Charles

It was the exact same item as the picture. It was also a new pin, still in the unopened package. And I didn't ask for any information other than his name and address. Didn't I have to have that?

Days like this make me want to quit. I have no control over the Post Office. What do these people expect? When you order something by mail, you don't get it the next day.

That woman's child has autism and she can't spell it???!! Weird. There may be a screw loose for her somewhere--even if only because she's had a hard life dealing with autism.

I get some that don't even have eBay. Just a money order. I don't sell one of a kind items. I may get a money order for $9. I have over 100 items that will be $9 and I sell on average 50 per day. How am I suppose to find that the auction that person is paying for?

I had one the other day that took over a month to pay. She made no effort until I filed for the FVF credit. Then I got an e-mail almost every day until she got the package.

I use to have the same problems as your describing here but since I started using paypal only..........all this has stopped.

Now my problem is that they bid and then they don't want to use paypal, so alright I say, no problem, just send a postal money order they say fine. Now my old problems start all over again with the ......I already mailed it, or I forgot to send it its going out today, well it never arrives.

I can not tell you how much extra time is involved with people like this, plus there packages have to sit around for such a long time before I can ship them out.

As for me, the best thing I did was take paypal only. Paypal sends them end of auction email, so my only work is letting them know payment was received and again on the day of shipping I email them with tracking number.

I'm Sorry your having a real bad day Gtootie , I do understand what thats like, plus you sell a great deal of stuff so your work is even harder.

My favorite customer purchased about a dozen cheap movies from my at my ebay store - Continually bugged me about delivery, though they knew it would go via media mail. Person got them, and then wanted to ship half of them back. I agreed, because I do offer a guarantee. I later learned the reason they were being shipped back was because this person was trying to sell the items to a store in his town, and these were the rejects! Ok, well long before I learned that, I blocked him from any further purchases, because anyone who returns that much stuff, I don't want to do business with them - Oh, forgot to mention he also purchased 3 items from the store, and did not want to go through with the transaction, didn't have the cash. Well, months later, he writes me telling me he wants to buy a few things because he can resell them, he thinks, and wants to be unblocked. After I cleaned up the coffee I spilled from laughing so hard, I wrote a polite note back saying no, to find someone else to do business with.

Most of my customers are really great, by far they make up for ones like these. All I can say is don't take it personally, and be sure to not leave feedback first!

I have been helping my son to get started selling on eBay, and he just sold a cellular phone for about $56 or $58. The winner called his home, where my granddaughter was home sick, and she gave him my son's work #, and he called him there, and asked if he could do better on the price!! My son said "no way". He called me and asked what he should do. I told him to tell the guy he had 7 days to pay (he lives locally), and then he would file for NPB.
