lol April ! He's just saying the Dollar Tree has wine for a dollar a bottle and that it beats the price of the two buck chuck wine. So if you like wine check out your local Dollar store.

Jack, I'm afraid we'll have to run a taste comparison. Please send 2 bottles of Dollah Tree PO Box 1032 PCB FL 32408 and we'll let you know the results.

"Recently the store picked up some Stanton Hills cabernet, which retails for $15; the 99¢ offer was mentioned in the Los Angeles Times, and 17,000 bottles sold out in two hours."
Not the same store but only in CA....
Evidently Jack didn't do too bad:
"Covey Run Chardonnay 01
Price: $10.00
Case price per bottle: $9.00
Winemaker’s Comment: Our 2001 Chardonnay is bursting with flavors of green apple, pear, melon, and spice, along with soft hints of vanilla, cream, and toast.
Food Pairing Suggestions: Although made to be served with food, this wine is also well-suited as an aperitif. Try serving it with fish, chicken dishes, salad courses, or with any style of lighter foods."
