I bought some ink cartridges from someone a few months ago. When I opened them, they leaked everywhere and never worked. The exp date was also expired. (I should have known better but didn't know) Anyway, I never left feedback for the seller.He has sent me an email every few weeks asking for feedback. He did leave me a positive but I really don't want to leave him a neg. This is the email I received:
HI, I HAVE RECEIVED U.P.S. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION ON 12-28-04 AT 8:45AM. PLEASE LEAVE ME POSITIVE FEEDBACK AS I DID FOR YOU A.S.A.P, THIS IS MY 3RD EMAIL ASKING FOR YOUR COOPERATION. WE ALL KNOW POSITIVE FEEDBACK IS VERY MUCH WELCOMED IN THIS BUSINESS. SORRY TO BOTHER YOU CONCERNING THIS. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR COOPERATION AND YOUR PURCHASE. GOD BLESS.
I did email him to let him know what had happened and why I didnt leave him a feedback at all. Checking his feedback, looks like this isnt the first time this has happened. HUMMMM interesting. He sold faulty cartridges and the past

did you ask him for a refund???
when someone ASKS me for feedback,I NEVER leave it.

thanks Classic. I am feeling the same way. I did see that he received a neg for exp cartridges in the past. I didn't ask for a refund, just emailed him the reason I didnt leave FB. We'll see what happens from here. May never hear from the guy again.

The cartridges were no good,Im curious why you didnt ask for a refund.You could also leave a neutral feedback and state the cartridges were bad,alerting other bidders.

I know, I AM a putz. I should have atleast emailed the seller right away. I was too busy with my own stuff and I guess, I just wrote it off to experience

1. Ask for a refund or replacement.
2. If he refuses, neg him and move on.
That is exactly what I would do, AND what I would expect from my customers.
As it is, if someone gives me neutral without contacting me I neg them. ALWAYS contact the seller. How many flashing signs in bright glowing lights do people need? If you try to leave poor feedback eBay tells you right out to contact the seller first.

I understand about getting busy with things, we've all done it. It will be interesting to see what he writes back, my guess is he will stop asking for feedback lol

Paloma - I had a similar situation with a buyer. Person waited two months to pay, used a method I do not accept andf then put me on his mailing list so that I recieved an email every time the idiot launched new auctions himself. Every week he would write and ask me for feedback.
I wrote him back and told him that my lack of feedback for him was an attempt at niceties. I would be more than happy to leave feedback if he insisted but considering his actions during and after the sale I was not at all sure that we would like what I had to say.
Never heard from him again.
