If you are not making $15 per month on your store, you shouldn't have one open in the first place.

Call me a heretic, but I LIKE it when eBay raises prices. It means less whiners on the boards, less competition from quiters and more sales for me.

When times are easy and economy is good everybody wants in on the action. But when things slow down or fees go up it is a cleansing cycle.

Nothing personal, just my 2 bits.

Gee, that's the same reason I look forward to $10 a gallon gas. Less eagleedc's on the road.

I don't buy that argument - It will affect you. Those that load all of the value into the postage will thrive with this new structure, so you will get people buying something for a penny but paying $10 shipping. They buy 3 items, want it combined, and then feel ebay is a ripoff because they are paying $30 for shipping for something that the seller only pays $3.85 for. Nevermind they are getting the product for free, they feel ripped off and don't go back to ebay. Deceptive marketing really does hurt us all.

Despite the store increase, I've just sold 3 things in the last week from my store. That's more than I sold in the last 4 months. Sticking with this ebay thing. I may lose more money but it's paying for soccer, softball etc... I also have a network marketing company, yep MLM, and everytime something changes people begin to complain. The ones that make it are the ones that find a way to meet the challenge. I'm meeting the challenge. In a magazine today I saw that Oyster plates are BIG right now. Well, thank the Lord, I had a friend bring me 6 to sell. Meet the challenge people!

Selling three things from your store in the last week is not too much to brag about, IMO, unless you are selling high ticket items. Having your own web store is by far cheaper than anything eBay has to offer. You can drive your eBay customers to it.
