My friends are trying to sell their Eagles tickets so they can buy tickets for the Super Bowl. Twice they were going to buy them on Ebay but..... Ebay contacted them and told them the auctions were invalid.

Besides Ebay, what other online auction sites have tickets sale.

Why would they be invalid? People sell tickets on ebay all the time.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Ebay closed the two auctions my friends bid on and said the auctions were invalid. The two sellers a NRU now.

My apologies - I thought your friend was trying to sell tickets, not buy them. There is no way I would buy SuperBowl Tickets on ebay. Too easy to get ripped off on that one. Hate to say it but I would go to a liscensed broker in their area if they want to be sure they are really getting real tickets.

Just punch super bowl tickets into Google and you'll find hundreds of big sellers. Plus there's 130 active auctions on Ebay right now. If your friends are Eagles fans I'd advise waiting until after this week's game against the Falcons

fenix03 - My friends were selling their tickets (they just did to a friend). The profits they made off their sale they wanted to buy Super Bowl tickets off of Ebay.

I agree about buying them on Ebay. Not a good idea IMO. They were almost ripped off 2 grand yesterday. Somehow Ebay found out the two sellers they were dealing with were frauds.

I was just wondering if they was other auction sites out their besides Ebay that tickets were sold on.

Miis J - A couple years ago when the Super Bowl was in San Diego we got all the stories the NFL tries to squash about the people who bought tickets online and spent a fortune to fly out and find a room only to discover at the gate that their tickets were counterfits. Great ones... holograms and everything but none the less....
