How can we let underbidders know that there was info added to an auction, while it is still an open auction? .... email addys donn't show anymore, if you go into 'list all auction/show email addr.' ... only me top bidder's email address is available for me to see?

You should be able to click on the members id and navigate to a contact member page. Then you should be able to contact them.
