That is amazingly interesting! Thanks loads for posting it. I've bookmarked it and will be watching regularly.

If I'm reading the charts right, it looks as though a large number of listings happen at 10 p.m. (1 a.m. EST) and tail off toward the end of the day. The February jump must be from the lower-priced listing days Ebay offered, right?

That's correct Roadsmith. Don't forget to factor in the fact that the nickel listing day included 3, 5, and 10 day auctions which should explain some of the sudden dips that occur in the chart.

I'd expect eBay's item count to drop as fast as eBay's stock price.

I just noticed the sell through rate chart also. Does it mean what I THINK it means? Basically that it's now a crap shoot to sell on e bay? 50% chance of selling your item?
