I'll try to make this short. I have a widget that I have put up on butt bay about 3 times now with no takers. This last time, I dropped the price to waaaaaay below rock bottom price but kicked up the shipping and handling charges. Not too much, just a little. I got an email from a guy who asked why the s & h were so high? For $XX you can ship priority blah blah blah. Interesting fact. I saw what he had been bidding on in the last 30 days. He has been buying up low priced items like mine (same brand etc) and reselling them at quite a bit more! Smart guy, don't you think? I guess he's got the sour grapes syndrome. If I can't have it then no one else should buy it either.
I should add that with the increased S & H costs, I added a few extras, like insurance is included etc

That's an easy one Paloma. Just respond that your bourbon supply is getting low and you were hoping a sucker like him would come along and pay the outrageous charges so you could treat yourself to a bottle of Jack Daniels. Then block him. He's a headache looking for a place to settle.

If you feel comfortable why not post the auction here maybe somebody will see it and realize they just have to have it at such a great price??
Funny, I just emailed a supposedly new seller and they have like 5 things listed. A bit of weird price ranges, ,but ok, whatever. Then I look at the shipping and everything (sells all diff items) for UPS Ground 8-9!! So I asked if he really is shipping everything UPS ground (a bracelet?) So he/she emailed back they are new and has changed the shipping and did not know what they are doing really apolegetic and they have changed the shipping. Took it down to 4.00 and item starts at .99! -- So now of course, I feel I have to bid on something I really dont want, to give him a booster because I'm feeling bad he will totally lose money on this item. But got outbid. (whew!) I would have bought it and paid for it if I had to, but I am thinking to my self, you schmuck, its probably a 2ndary account for somebody. Maybe they got scared and thought I was from ebay or something?
My Dh needs a dress shirt and what do you think he does? Goes to the mall and pays 50.00 for one. I said, no,-uh-uh. I cant be on ebay all these hours and not got a good deal myself when I need it. So that is how I bumped into this guy. I bid on the shirt but 9.00 bucks is high for the shipping, I had to tell him.

I didnt reply to him but I did block him. Sparkz, I like your train of thought. I may use that in the future! I know the shipping is a little high but the price for this item is REALLY low. We'll see what happens. Thanks for the support.

Sounds to me like you need to study what he is doing that you are NOT. I cannot tell you how much I have learned from other listings through out the years. You can also.

yes, buying up cheap and reselling. Sure, I could do that sometime in the future but not right now. I need to get rid of the stuff I have here first. Maybe later.
This guy isn't a new seller. He's been on ebay for over 3 years with a fb of over 300. He does have a few negs for slow shipping and items not working etc
