What is the best way to test vaseline glass with a blacklight? Do you set up a black lined box, go into a dark room, or is there some trick to getting the best glow from the uranium oxide? I have an old blacklight bulb (I think from my 70's velvet Elvis wall hanging - just kidding!). But will the blacklight bulb work just as well?

cta, I would think even an older blacklight bulb should do the trick ... just get into a darkened room and turn the blacklight bulb on, and hold the glass about 12" from the bulb ...

I've even used a blacklight in a lighted room in & you can easily see the glow in vaseline glass.
