Oh, brother. You have to wonder if the winner is really going to pay. And to think, I have the audacity to offer real goods! I even have pictures of them. Maybe I need to change my strategy here. LOL!

Maybe there is a 10 year old grilled cheese sandwich in there with the exact image of God himself!! Think of the resale potential!

neglus... you're right about the template! ... can anyone here teach me how to do that? ... it's probably right-click, 'view source', but how would i know which parts to take out, to make it just a template?

I believe that the winning bidder will pay for this, afterall just look at a few of the other silly things he/she bid on, won and the final bid amount.

YS, they will pay. I saw an article where Golden Casino said they were buying these auctions because they get National coverage. They couldn't get national coverage advertising that cheap anywhere else.

It is called cheap advertising.

Who cares how you get your 15 minutes of fame as long as they spell your name right.

I used to have an antique store. For about 2 years, I had this lovely RED Fenton Lamp hanging in the window. I made sure it stayed lit, day and night. It made a lot of people in this small town talk.

Some of my customers used to ask me if I was worried about what people might say. I told them heck no. The important thing was that they were talking about me!

The lamp became so popular that someone just had to buy it one day.

Boy oh boy that Golden Palace Casino sure has spent a whole lot on strange advertising.

This kinda reminds me of the story about the guy who went to Jamaica on vacation and one day while drinking in a bar he had to go to the restroom. So, while standing at the urinal he just happened to glance over at the guy standing next to him and he noticed that he had the name Wendy tatooed on his penis.

He thought it strange but didn't give it another thought until a couple days later he was again standing at a urinal and again he glanced over at the gentleman standing next to him and he too had the name Wendy tatooed on his penis.

He thought, this is strange but again he quickly forgot about it and then a couple days later he was again standing at a urinal and he glanced over at the guy standing next to him and he too had the name Wendy tatooed on his penis, just like those two other guys.

So he finished and zipped up and waited for the guy to finish and zip up and he said to him; Hey, I noticed that you have the name Wendy tatooed on your penis and you are the third person that I have seen with this, what is going on here, are you guys all advertising for someone named Wendy or what.

The guy said; No mon, it's not Wendy. What it really says when it's all stretched out is; Welcome To Jamaica And Have A Nice Day.

If anybody hears what is in that envelope, let us know. I'm really curious what the heck he spent $7,200 on!

BTW -- Actually, he's smart for buying these auctions up. He receives alot of WORLDWIDE advertising for next to nothing!

Ok, here is the latest scoop on GPC.

Just heard this on the afternoon news. Golden Palace Casino is an online gambling site. As such, they can not legally advertise in traditional media. They buy the Ebay auctions because it gives them national coverage.

If it's the same company as Golden Palace.com, they've advertised (commercials) on GSN numerous times.

Hi Folks;

I interviewed Drew Black, the spokesman for Golden Palace Casino on our show.
They actually will be touring some or all of this stuff.
If you'd care to listen to the interview, its on the archived show page.

It's a P.T.Barnum world.
