I am trying to get into my banking website and when I log on I get the message Pop up blocker stopped the process.
Can anyone help me to figure out what to do. What I did was go into tools, Internet options, privacy and entered the bank address into the area where it says allow. Still nothing. The bank cannot help. Can anyone here. It would be greatly appreciated.

are you using XP popup blocker or something else?
If it's XP then Tools/popup blocker settings and then type in your bank page. Or you can go to the bank page and click on the yellow bar that XP pops up and I think it will ask you if you want to always allow that or something close to that.
If it's Norton, or any other program really - then turn the popup blocker off.

It could also be your Internet Service Provider/ISP. They may have security features (i.e., AOL) that are preventing the pop-ups. Therefore, you could try calling your ISP and perhaps they can help you through the problem.

No I have windows ME. I did go to tools and put the bank in the always allow but it doesn't help. I don't have AOL. I will call my ISP. One day I could get in the next day I couldn't. Will the mysteries ever stop.

What popup-blocker are you using?
One thing that will temporarily over-ride the blocker is to hold down the Ctrl key when you click the link or button when you are logging in. That should allow you to get done what you need to get done.

Update - It was the Yahoo Tool Bar that was stopping me from getting into my banking.
I called my ISP and they were great. I have nothing but good things to say about them as they have saved me many times. I have dial up and I belong to voyager.net, Corecom.

On any pop-up blocking program, you want to set it up to accept pop-ups from secure sites. This is the default setup on many blockers, including AOL. For instance, mine is now set to block all pop-ups on the EO. If I switch to the "My Account" section, it will allow pop-ups. As soon as I leave that section, it will automatically switch back to blocking popups mode.
