I was left a negative yesterday.
I then looked at 'payment status' and it said 'Buyer marked item as paid'

On April 21, the buyer emailed me and said she was sending a check 'shortly'.

Never received a check, I keep good track of those, and she was the only one sending a check for those auctions.

So she leaves me a neg, all in caps:

HAVEN'T RECEIVED ITEM, HAS BEEN ALMOST A
MONTH!!!

I did reply to it saying that Item needs to be paid for before I ship

I emailed her, and no response.

That is when I found the 'payment status'
So I guess that is new, or I've never seen that before.

I really need a non emotional negative feedback to give her.

I went to file an NPB, and first thing I see is 'don't intimadate your buyer'

Looks to me like ebay is all for the buyer these days.

hi near. yes, it is a fairly new thing. Maybe you can just put something like, "payment has not been received and emails to buyer unresponsive. Cannot complete transaction" (dont know if thats too many characters :P you'll have to check.)Have you emailed thru ebay contact member or just your own mail? If you dont mind them having yours, maybe if you pull contact info that will get their attention?? Good luck with it.(why you having such a hard time with buyers lately, anyway?)

Hi dbl

I don't know. I'm a bad bidder magnet I guess! LOL

Yep I emailed her through ebays 'email system'

This one really p*sses me off, esp. the part where the buyer can mark the thing as paid!

Yep I looked into Paypal, just in case, and yes it shows her (under all ebay sales) as UNPAID -send invoice

Haven't left her neg yet. It would be her first, she joined on April 5 of this year.

ummm tough one. Pull her info and call. Do you have a good Longdistance rate?

re: bad bidder magnet. I think most everybody gets a cycle of that sometimes. Maybe your mercury is retrograde or something!...blame it on that!

edit to add: I know that marked as paid on the sellers end could really sink ya if youre having a blank moment one day!!

"I really need a non emotional negative feedback to give her."

well count "classic" out on that one.

joined April 5th--ewwww another newbie loser

make SURE you neg her back-its the only way that the two of you can do a mutual feedback withdrawal, exchange or whatever the hell they call it.

"Dont intimidate the buyer" thats a stupid thing to put in there...well hell yes I WILL intimidate the buyer if the assh*ole wont pay me--
H E L L O ???

what I usually do is threaten to send my mother-in-law over to their house to stay for the week, which I also inform them, this will not be a pleasant expierence--payment is usually in my paypal account the next day.

classic who said dont intimidate the buyer? She could shoot off the hip, but what she really wants is to make her sale, no??? Okay, so some take a little more hand-holding, but if it ultimately falls though at least NTS cannot say she didnt try. right?

LOL Classic!

Well, gee, I filed NPB, and she responded! Who'd a thunk

She said, 'I was going to send a personal check, then I figured out PayPal, and emailed you for your PayPal email and you never replied. I need you email address

DUH, its right there where you emailed me JUST NOW!
And there is a 'Pay Now' button on the auction.

She's getting a negative.

Classic I would use your last one, about MIL, but its too long

dbl, just told her item wasn't available.

And left her a neg. non emotional negative fb.

She had 'glowing' feedback.

She has left 2 negs (one was for me) and about 4 neutrals for 'SLOW PAYERS!'
(she's now selling)

LOL dbl, yep maybe I am.

I am not selling right now, and don't know when I will.

I just got an ebay bill from when I had my store, and it was $500! That hurt!

Now to go see if she responded to my neg.

It was very factual, I put:

Non Paying Bidder. I filed for FVF's. Now wants to pay PP. Quick to leave neg.

yes on the karma!

And I didn't know she was selling until I looked at her feedback.

Thanks!

Good job on the neg, near!! yeah about the fees,..they sure creep up on ya sometimes!

remind me one day to tell you how my family had a bad situation, and looking back now, that f* em attitude (by my husband, not me, I was stressin' big time) - but it really was 'the thing' that brought it around and us out of it. (I feel like I really know that now.)
