All day yesterday My Ebay had a red warning on it that some of my information may not be available, please try again. Don't know if that's related to today's problem.

You are not dreaming!

I had the same issue today at times here in upstate NY.

Got many times the "cannot find server", which means that others in different areas would get the same message.

Yet, now it is OK.

Would be nice to have another 10 cent listing day!

13 of my 10 cent auctions of crap that I've sold before ended from 10:30 am without bids today. Outage? Or is just too hard to get your crap noticed on 10 cent listing days?

ebay is working fine, although bids or watchers or page views don't seem to reflect that.

What is a Toonces?

Although some of the problems described above sound like genuine glitches, a couple may have logical explanations. Ebay has been known in the past to disable certain functions of the site during FLD's or other expected heavy use days to free up resources to handle the volume. Their favorite has always been to limit description searches to the first fifteen words. That's the reason you want to get those keywords in the first sentence for a promo listing. I could well imagine them disabling certain functions in My Ebay that they don't deem critical to the immediate process of closing a transaction. There will probably be a few other "glitches" as today winds down. Much better than the total crashes of the old days.
