Are we to be afraid to answer questions from buyers now that spoof emails are being distributed this way? I supposed as long as we don't "sign in" for anything, we should be okay?

safer way - don't answer the question directly from your e'mail...log into eBay and go to the item in question. answer the question from there. be sure to check off the box just below the question to keep your e'mail address private.

Never ever answer using the link in the e-mail. Always answer by hitting the reply button within your e-mail program. If you use the link, you will lose everything. At least with hitting the reply button, if it is a spoof, it will simply come back as undeliverable.

Never use ebay's worthless e-mail system. You are not protected from scammers in it and it is way too unreliable to respond with on legite questions as well.
