I agree is there someway to stop the flashing, rotating and gyrating of the various ads? I disable animation in my Internet options to no avail.

Chronic complainers sometimes appreciate easy solutions... maybe you should just try not to look or think about the ads...that should work!
In the meantime, you may look at this little nicpicker....

Hitting the ESC button will usually stop the animation/flashing.

esc doesn’t help
I have every reason to be nit picky
many of us do
we have lost so much money in the past few weeks from all these technical glitches
This is the ONE thing that would be easy for vendio to fix is to turn off those ads!
Epileptics could have seizures from looking at them while trying to work

Everyone else would have seizures also if Vendio were to increase our fees to offset the lost revenue from those adds. Just be happy they banned pop-ups a couple years ago.

I don't get them with Mozilla either, classic. Best move I've made in a long time.
Get rid of IE or do as Helen suggested, learn to ignore them!

AdShield for IE and AdBlock for Firefox work pretty well. As you use them you see fewer and fewer ads until you see almost none. AdShield is my favorite but unfortunately it's no longer freeware.

Hmmm, nicpicker looks like me over the last week or so. Can't say I have seen him before, got a good laugh from him to. As for the ad's, I don't have a problem with vendio sticking in a couple of ad's here and there as long as they stay small. I do agree that the animation has to go. Just a good old NON MOVING ad is fine with me. I have had a hard enough time with all the problems over the last week to and flashing junk on my screen has to go.

I use Spy Doctor which blocks Pop-ups. But if you use Yahoo messenger they all have a Pop-up blocker and it's free. You have to use some kind of Pop-up blocker to get rid of them though, and its worth it those use to bug me to,all that flashing stuff and bright colors kills my eyes.
