I just launched an auction and found that in error I made the opening and BIN higher than I wanted it to be. How can I change that, or must I cancel and start over?

I would think you could just revise your auction and lower your prices.

Yes, you can revise it by going through your My Ebay file selling items. CLick on the arrow to the right of it and it will bring up revise. You can lower both prices, opening and BIN

mamachia, even if you list fixed price bin?

I wonder if they changed that or I was just screwed one day?

What I find frustrating is that if you change your mind about having the BIN and delete it out (even if right away) or if you lower the BIN, they don't refund those fees. However, if you lower your price even 6 days into a 7 day auction, the excess fees are refunded. So, the BIN fees are their's anyway you look at it.

DBL,
No, I haven't been able to changed a fixed price unless you cancel it and relist it.

<---- changed fixed price items and lived to tell the tale.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

DBL,

Then you are doing it wrong.

It works exactly the same as a regular auction. You click on the auction, then click the revise button and all you need to do is click on the edit pictures link (the sales price is under this heading) and revise your price. It don't matter if it is an auction, FB, or auction with BIN. It all edits the same way.

Stone, you would think thats the way it should work and if one doesnt know how to navigate to that...you are really green. But I remember when it happened on an auction of mine, which I rarely list FP or Bin, and I listed at a price I did not intend to. The option simply was not there! Everything else under the normal route of that category was able to be changed except the price. The field for it wasnt there, if I remember right. Now they may have been doing something with the system at the time maintenance or whatever..I but I do know I explored it a bit and I remember thinking how odd this is that I couldnt change it at that time.
