this bidder won 5 auctions from me over the course of a week. at the time, they had perfect feedback. not one single email response in 2 weeks. all of a sudden... 17 negatives from 7 or 8 sellers. i cannot imagine that at least half of them didn't close their disputes and file for FVF.

bidder id: angie72460

I just looked and this person is STILL BIDDING ON AUCTIONS! How frustrating. I would contact Ebay Safe Harbor or their 'help', not that you will get any response - I sure haven't in the past when I've requested assistance like this...

yikes!!! I would definately contact safe harbor maybe even call "customer service" I'd be tempted to write to the sellers this person is bidding on right now give them a heads up... Looks like a young person who could care less to me. and did you note the references to them having changed their ID... gosh I hate summer on ebay...

It could be a hi-jacked account too - notify ebay at once

Neglus is probably right - noticed the problem starts right around the time kids got out of school for the summer - also noticed that the problem began when they were given retaliatory negative feedback after receiving cruddy merchandise.

yes, but also notice there are auctions that are apparently being completed and paid for. 3 sellers leave positive in a row.

hijacked does sound the most plausible. i sold an expensive item to a lady with perfect feedback in late March and then poof! she disappeared. filed for FVFs, etc. put her on my BBL. (i never bother to leave negs.) noticed she hadn't bid on anything else and thought well, maybe she died or something. she finally appeared two months later, having moved her parents cross country. she finally paid and all ended well. maybe i'm lucky, very few postcard deadbeats.

rusty- The three positives were for auctions in the beginning of June and one ended in May. The trouble started later.

I agree with the "hijack" theory.

Sometimes writing to the other sellers can get you nailed for auction interference. I'd be careful on that score.

Because NONE of those people bothered to File for fees, they think just giving him a BIG FAT NEG will screw him, It does squat! filing for fees DOES........

and the beat goes on,,,,,,,,

Since this person has purchased from you, you can always give them a call? Although I see fairly frequent cycles in many bid histories of on-again, off-again which can mean temporary loss of job, illness, shortage of funds, who knows. Sometimes a NPBA does the trick to get paid. And sometimes it doesn't.

Contacting other sellers is a bad idea and can get you kicked off faster than the bidder will be NARU'd.

Looking closer at it now - doesn't seem to be hi-jacked. The guy/girl buys lighters and knives - he/she has negs and positives for both and the buying pattern seems to be consistent. A" member since May 13 2005" makes me think the person is, um, overextended?

Rusty, did you file a UID on this bidder? Apparently someone did and they were the third to do so and got her booted.
