I have two silver pieces that I need to at least try to identify the marks on. Still trying to get decent photos so for now, anyone with a site I may be able cruise would be helpful.
One is a British mark from 1908 - it is a shield with the inials JD on top of WD inside.
The other is a Scotish mark from 1920. It is an oval with script letters A (something, could be R or P) and Co.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...

Vintage - thanks - it is a great site and I was only able to date the pieces thru it but couldn't find the makers marks.

WOHOO! Found the First one - THE JD WD is James Deakin & Sons... Now for the with too much flair for such a small mark... I thought I had it figured out until I realized I was holding the piece upside down.
