I mailed about 8 package on 7/5 and only one has made it to the winner?
I took them all to the same post office - some were ready to go and a few I just added insurance to as I had forgotten to add it when I paid and printed the label.
Some were international or 1st class and some were priority. Also I just drop some in their drop box and some the clerk took. Doesn't seem to make any difference. Only 1 has made it - should I be concerned???

what jack said

have mailed multiple things on the same day and the delivery time varies, although everything was sent the same way. actually, i quit using priority mail before i did ebay...i sent my dad a rare book, priority, not media mail. took 2 weeks to get there. regular letter to my mother sent the same day got there two days later. go figure. you sent it and it's out of your hands.

I just had a first class package take 9 days to go from SC to Tennessee...I could have drove there myself lol in about 9 hours so there something going on in the postal system....prolly everyone taking summer vacation at the same time but it could also have something to do with the bombings in the UK..maybe checking packages better.Just a thought.

As stupid as it may sound, but the bombings will have an effect on shipments. The global shipping routes are very tight and when there is a disruption any where in the system, it generally will have a ripple effect on the rest of the system. Looks like this one will be fairly minor though.

Re: mailin USA. It really depends on your location. Whn I lived in Raleigh, NC,I could mail a letter to my mom in
Santa Barbara & she would get in 3 days or less. It would take 10 days to send a letter to my brother in Lexington, KY. Reason; Raleighm Durham, Chapel Hill had a regiona Postl Center. all mail going into NC, SC, VA & parts of Tenn & WVA came through there. So if I mailed aletter to KY, it had to go to Ohio & then Chiago before making it to KY.

Well I guess I have my answer now. My international package was delivered yesterday (UK by the way) but so far my US package have not made it. I called and was told that it is NORMAL for priority to take 2 to 9 days - WHAT??? I should not worry until it's been 2 plus weeks. I hope this is not a sign of the times.

I am finding shipping is taking a long time at the moment, especially International. I am sure the bombings in London are causing an effect, remember 9/11, when things are checked very carefully at borders, that takes a long time. I live in Canada, and my Bidpay m.o.'s are taking 3-4 weeks! The buyer has the item a couple of weeks before I get paid!
