It's one of Jack's listings. Nothing but gibberish. Apparently people want to buy gibberish.

Me too, but then I've not had such a fab Santa either! Disregard the gibberish -- this is one killer piece and well worth it to a collector. Belsnickles (the true name) can go up to $1500 depending on condition and size. And in pursuit of a Holy Grail, who cares what the copy reads like?

I like the "This is old and not perfect and neither am I"
Cashinyourcloset - I think you would have gotten at least that much. The real old Christmas is a high dollar collectible.
Collectors know what they are looking at too. Last Christmas I listed 3 old cotton ornament for $39.99 each. I figured I would be lucky to get that as they are being reproduced and sold by the dozens on ebay. I ended up with over $750 for the 3. Merry Christmas to ME!!!!!

Ladyjewels,
I'm a bit of a Bah Humbug type myself, but I guess I should start paying more attention to Xmas.
Congratulations on your ornaments.
I guess I won't start dropping acid, taking funny pictures, and writing stream of consciousness stuff about my woefull life. Dang! And I thought I had found the perfect marriage of auction and blog... could have called it eBlag.
