I was feeling like I wanted to argue so I called e-bay yesterday to complain about the canceling of free keywords. Because i have a store I get an amount of free ads per month. I never used them as they did not work for me.

Any way I had some free time soo i thought I'd give it a stab.

So i called and asked what was the replacement for this perk.

The service rep said nothing is the replacement, Yahoo has my free ad now, in fact she said that when see opened up a search to prove that they are gone(keyword ads) she said she had an ad from Allstate insurance on the top of her search.

Now what the hey. Allstate insurance as a banner ad. this has nothing to do with e-bay-amazon-yahoo-etc. This is just sell ads for more money and screw the sellers on ebay.

Next thing we will be seeing will be a huge ad where ours were for insurance, Viagra, maybe even Burger King and a tiny teeny radio button to push to see the sellers item.

Of course it will be $5 to list a 99ct item at that point.
It will not matter by then since everyone will either not be able to open your ads up because of cookies, pop ups and every other insidious program that will be running on e-bay to track the non existent sales.
it will be just like Bill remembers from his good old days flipping burgers.

hey I like THIS with Mozilla!

http://imagezoom.yellowgorilla.net/install/install.html?old=0.0.0&new=0.2

you know those crappy little pictures on Ebay? now you can right click and zoom them up without having to "save to" and open your picture program.

of course they're not any clearer but they wouldn't be in your picture program anyway.

ok LOVE firefox. Now....can anybody tell me how to make the www. section smaller? In IE you can drag the toolbar to make it smaller and then lock it. Somehow I can't find anywhere on the internet how to customize the default Firefox toolbar - or at least how to make the www. section smaller and the Google section larger!
